🎓 SSP Scholarship Update — Jan 31, 2026

✅ Application Deadlines & Status

For the SSP Post-Matric Scholarship 2025–26 (Karnataka), several departmental schemes had key application deadlines around late January 2026:

  • Minorities Welfare Department and other categories had last dates of 31 January 2026.

  • Other departments (like Arya Vyshya, AYUSH, etc.) have deadlines extending into February and March 2026.

➡️ If you applied before these deadlines and submitted all documents correctly (with Aadhaar seeded to your bank account), your application should now be under processing on the SSP portal.

🕐 What’s Happening Now?

  • Applications submitted for SSP scholarships before the Jan 31, 2026 cut-offs are in the verification and approval stage.

  • Money transfers to students usually happen after institutional verification completion, which can take a few weeks following the deadline.

  • Some students have reported issues like Aadhaar seeding or portal status showing “Not updated” even after linking — so it’s important to check your bank account and application status regularly.

📌 Tips Before You Check Status

Make sure you have:
✔ Your SSP login credentials (Aadhaar / registered phone)
✔ Bank account seeded with your Aadhaar
✔ All documents e-attested and uploaded

Then log in on the official SSP portal (Karnataka or your state portal) and check the Application Status / Payment Status section.

📌 General Scholarship Environment (India)

While specific SSP updates are tied to state portals, senior national scholarships (like NSP schemes) have faced deadline closures — many closed in late 2025 — and verification & disbursal continues into early 2026.

Note: A large number of scholarship beneficiaries across India dropped off lists recently due to issues like Aadhaar linking or portal delays, as per reports — so timely updates and corrections before deadlines are crucial.
